Fall is here and we are all about Desserts. Since we are originally from the East Coast, we try to create our own seasons here in California. And with that come fall recipes, especially desserts!
Our daughter and I wanted to make something pretty quick that you could make in less than an hour.
We started with a nut bass mixture which we bought from Whole Foods. We often make our bases ourselves, but it always nice to keep this one in the cabinet, when you want something pre-made.
We used Organic Apples, Brown Sugar and some Non-Gmo Caramel.
1 Cup of Nut Flour Blend
1/4 Cup of Flaxseed Milk (You can use any non-dairy milk of your choice, but this one has a thicker texture, so it binds well.)
8 Organic Apples
1/4 cup of Brown Sugar
Cinnamon (how much is based on your preference) We used about 4 teaspoons
Drizzles of Caramel
What will you need:
1 Pie Pan
8 Sliced Apples
How to make:
Mix nut flour blend with Flaxseed milk and stir until mixed well.
Make sure it is a thin base as you stretch into the pie pan.
Next, once you have placed the base in the pan, take your cut up apples and place in the pan. We did ours in a circular direction.
We then put Cinnamon on top of the apples.
Then we added brown sugar and mixed it with some caramel.
We baked it in the oven for 20 minutes.
We took it out and let sit for 10 minutes.
There is our Apple Delight!!!!
