Summer has arrived. With that being said, we don’t know about you, but we love smoothies, especially in this hot summer heat, with record temperatures of 107 in Los Angeles. We make a variety of non-dairy smoothies.
We wanted to share with you a few recipes for smoothies, in which everyone will be able to enjoy that cover many of your needs.
Today, we are starting with one of our favorites: CHOCOLATE! Who doesn’t love Chocolate? Here is our version of a natural, healthy, Non-Dairy Chocolate Almond Smoothie. Not only does our version pack in iron and loads of magnesium, but with Almond Butter, you get a double portion of Vitamin E, over Peanut Butter. It tastes so good and is great for you too!
Recipe: Chocolate Almond Smoothie (Non-Dairy)
1 1/2 cup of Ice
3 teaspoons of Raw Cacao Powder
1 heaping tablespoon Almond Butter
5 Stevia Drops
1 cup of Flax Milk (or any non-dairy milk of your choice. FYI, Flax Milk is much thicker than Almond Milk)
Blend in a Vitamix, Nutri or Magic Bullet and serve fresh with a little banana on top.
