I cannot say enough how thankful, excited and overjoyed I am to have partnered with my favorite brand of makeup for the past four years, Gabriel Cosmetics. They are a special team to work with.
Gabriel Cosmetics are natural, vegan, gluten and cruelty free. I always would see this brand and stop at the station in Whole Foods (no longer carries them) and I loved them but didn’t purchase. Once we transitioned all chemicals four years ago, I bought the nutmeg liner. I wore this liner to many music meetings and everyone was like, “Kristen, this is the perfect nude on you.” And it is. From there, I bought more lipliners in various colors, eye primer and eyeliner. And Gabriel Cosmetics gave me an opportunity to leave chemicals behind, because of there products which mimics MAC Cosmetics in many ways. From vibrant colors, to staying power to long lasting pigments, I was hooked.
I was honored & delighted to have worn their makeup on my new album cover, many photo shoots and for my Best Rock/Pop Song Win at The Global Peace Song Awards for Phoenix Rising Up. This brand has been so instrumental in all of my music milestones, as well as some sad ones, and I wanted to take you along on this journey to share my favorite must haves and go to products.
1.) Lip Liner
Don’t even know where to begin with these beauty staples. They are the best as well as there lipsticks. You know they are great when your makeup artist loves them as much as MAC Lipliners. These are a no budge liner, with perfect precision and staying power. They also sharpen perfectly. Nutmeg is my all time favorite, but Red is my event go to. If you are looking for a great pink color, Berry is a great choice.
Multipots are a makeup girls best friend. They can be used in a multitude of ways. I personally like to use these for highlight, as blush and as a lip color. When I am rushing out the door, but want to look a little glam, I use the Magnolia & Peony to give me an extra glow. These last me all day and all night and they photograph so beautifully in photos. (I wore Magnolia for my GPSA win as highlight!)
3.) Eyeshadows & Blush
I am including both eyeshadow and blush together, because of the pigment payoff. The pigment payoff for these shadows and blushes are incredible. Not only do the colors stay on, but they stay true to form with NO fallout. For eyeshadows this is a must. I would hate to be at an event, where my makeup starts to smudge. I give there pigment a 1o!
